My Project
Flexible seating will allow my students to take charge of their learning while making the choice of what works best for them! During independent work times, they will have the choice of a location in the classroom that works for them. Making sure my students are comfortable for this upcoming school year is an essential component in motivating them.
My students deserve the chance to focus their attention onto their studies rather than their needs getting in the way!
I have chosen a variety of seating options so my students have even more choice of their learning environment and what works best for them. Many of my students like to "wiggle", "jump" and "move" so the Bean Bag Chairs, Weighted Teddy's and Sofa will be the best addition to our new classroom! I am eager to see how having students choose their workspace will affect their focus and their willingness to work!
