Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials and supplies I am requesting for my students will support in creating a safe and welcoming environment, where various learning styles are celebrated! The flexible seating options will provide students with the opportunity to have alternative seating choices that will support their learning.
The donations of this project will help to improve my students' focus, will support their social emotional learning, and will provide them with choices in how they learn.
The beanbag seat will provide a comforting space for students to take a break when needed in the calm corner of our classroom. The wobble cushions will also be used for additional seating in the library, or for students who will benefit from having a seating option that will support them in focusing on their learning. Lastly, the comfy floor seats will provide additional seating for students who need a comfortable space to read in the library.
Providing students with choices will help instill a sense of autonomy over their learning!
