it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will enable my students to choose a seat that will allow them to learn best. COVID 19 has caused a significant delay in their learning, being online for 9 months last year made learning a challenge for all. My particular students come from low-income and often chaotic homes, this made learning from home an even greater challenge. A seat that allows students to move, while still staying seated enables them to focus, be productive and make progress toward performing at grade level. Several of my students have ADHD, learning disabilities and social emotional difficulties, these students in particular benefit from flexible seating but all students enjoy having choices when it comes to their seat.
