Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach students who come from a variety of different background and learning styles. My students who come from low income homes who have a hard time providing supplies for their children. A majority of them come from single-parent homes or live with another family member because their parents are unable to take care of them. Many of them are responsible for taking care of their other siblings before and after school. My students also participate in a free breakfast and lunch.

I am a first-grade teacher who works with many students with different abilities.

My students come in at all different levels and ways of learning. My students love technology and learn in many different ways. I teach using a variety of hands-on, collaborative, and technology-based lessons and allow students to make their own choices regarding their learning.

My Project

I would like to get my students flexible seating in the classroom. Flexible seating has been known to help engage students in the classroom. I believe this will interest my students in learning and enjoy being in the classroom.

This project will help my students grow in their learning, help with test scores and students with disabilities.

Flexible seating will help with attendance and their drive for success.

Please help me make this happen for my students. My students would love this! This would be a great addition to our classroom.
