My Students

My students are from a rural town in the Hudson valley area. They come from various economic backgrounds, with about a number of them recieving lunch assistance.

My students are fifth grade students ready to end their elementary education with a bang!

With that being said, we need just a few items to help stay organized during this busy year. We are looking for a few chairs for flexible seating and mailbox to house all those important notices that go home.

My Project

Over the course of my teaching experience, I have found that allowing my students to be flexible in their seating helps them feel comfortable in their learning environment. Forcing students to sit at their desks all day long can be exhausting and restrictive. Having the opportunity to move around the classroom has really helped support all my various learners.

All my students needs will be met by just adding flexible seating to our space!

Not only am I asking for flexible seating but an organizational system (mailbox) to help my students stay responsible with any notices or work that need to be taken home.
