My Students
My students are 3rd graders from Brooklyn, NY in a specialized program which provides them with educational opportunities in an 8:1:1 setting to meet their special needs as learners.
My students are curious, investigative, and ambitious learners and one of my goals as an educator is to provide them with the most hands-on , meaningful, and engaging learning opportunities possible.
My students strive for excellence on a daily basis and deserve the best opportunity for continued success possible. I am asking for your support by seeking help to make that happen. Thank you!
My Project
My students are a group of 3rd grade learners with diverse learning needs. One need involves the use of flexible seating opportunities in order to promote focus and on-task work habits. I am seeking funding for bounce ball chairs that students can use at their seats to help maintain focus while working across subject areas. I am also seeking seat chairs that students can use to work in various locations in our classroom away from their desk in order to help promote focusing during independent work time. The flexible seating I am seeking for my students will provide my class of learners with the opportunity to work independently across the classroom, while remaining on-task. Please help these amazing learners continue to thrive!
