My Students
My fourth grade students are inquisitive, risk takers, determined, and enthusiastic. Their ideas, passion, and knowledge are truly inspiring. The students have a willingness to share and communicate with their peers that is a positive asset in the classroom.
My students walk into the class every morning knowing that they can rise to the challenges presented to them through hard work and perseverance.
The students are a diverse group of learners. They are encouraged to learn and grow at their own speed to become capable and confident learners.
My Project
The students need these stools to help maximize the number of students in groups during guided reading time. We currently have four very large chairs at the guided reading table and the chairs do not all fit comfortably. Now, add two more chairs, 6 students, and a teacher. The reading table becomes very tight and uncomfortable. Students fight over space and complain constantly about needing more room. This does not make for a productive and welcoming reading environment. These chairs will take up less space which means students will have more room. The chairs wobble so students can be more focused and ready to learn.
