My students need flexible seating to move around the room while working. By being where they learn best, they will increase their reading and writing love! Each student will have a seat that works for them!
I teach second grade, and my students enjoy working and collaborating together. They want to be successful while working, and I want to provide them with the best learning environment and experience that I can. Communication and collaboration is an imperative and important component of learning that goes on in our classroom everyday, especially when we are reading or writing.
I want to provide a learning environment that will best support my student's needs.
Flexible Seating will allow students to do work while giving them the freedom to move around the room.

Flexible classrooms give students a choice in what kind of learning space works best for them, they can sit, stand, or wiggle without bothering others.
Since observing other flexible classrooms, I have noticed that the students are more engaged and involved thought the day.
Some students simply don't enjoy sitting in a classroom style chair. By offering many seating options such as the wobble stool to move around on, or the stability ball which allows students to sit while still having the freedom of movement, students will be more engaged in their work. The balance board allows students to work while standing. Different options would allow students to be at their best thinking and learning throughout the entire day.
