This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach second grade and my students were impacted by COVID- 19. This year's cohort is really struggling with socialization. This is a direct result of COVID-19. I am looking to add more socialization for them. I really need alternative and flexible seating in my room. Not all kids can sit still for lessons and it really impacts their learning. With more options, this will allow the students to really have options on where we can sit. They really enjoy sitting on the floor, and this table seat and stools will be greatly appreciated.
