My students need flexible seating such as : bungee chairs, stability balls, and stools. This will give them a choice in what kind of learning space works best for them.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a school where students are taught on-site 3 days a week and are home schooled 2 days a week. We have a strong sense of community as teachers and parents collaborate in their students success.

These students are fearless and thrive when they have a variety of tools to engage with. Although each students learning environment differ greatly from each other, they are united in our classroom.

My Project
Our classroom focuses on personalized learning. This means that each student is learning at their personal levels, abilities, and preferences.
Flexible seating will support our vision of personalization by providing them with the comfort and focus they need to succeed in the classroom.
The stools are great for working in small groups with the teacher. The stability balls and bungee chairs are perfect for independent reading and working collaboratively with other students. The pillows are a simple yet ideal choice for the library area. It encourages reading while giving the area a comforting home feel.
These will all make such an impact on the focus and engagement of my students while they are learning!
