My students need the wobble stools to promote movement so they can increase their focus on learning.

My Students
The students I teach are active 8 year olds in 3rd grade. Each student has a unique way of learning. Some students are diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, SPD, and LD. In order to meet each students needs, I have implemented flexible seating into the classroom. All of my students enjoy the flexible seating options. The students are responsible for understanding how they learn and which seats support their learning. Students and parents are both fond of the unusual seating options available in my classroom.
My Project
I am in my 3rd year of implementing flexible seating into my classroom.
These stools will be used as a flexible seating option in my classroom.
The stools promote movement to help increase attention and focus. Allowing the students to wiggle or move while completing work is a great way for a student to burn off extra energy. Plus, the specialized stools helps students develop core muscles while balancing on the seat. Additionally, some students find it easier to focus on the classwork when they are allowed to move. Increasing student attention or focus will help students engage in their learning.
