This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project might seem familiar so some and that is because it is. Two months ago I launched my 1st project for two bean bags and a wiggle chair. I noticed that this year more than any year before my students long for a space to belong, and feel comfortable. It just so happen the Math classroom has become that place.

Each and everyday I am bombarded by requests to seat on the beanbags and do math or asked why don't I have a wiggle chair.

So I have decided to request two more chairs to make a second cozy work space.

With in the last two weeks my school has welcome over 15 migrant families. In one of my classes I have 8 ENL students whom are only fluent in their home languages. I am requesting a portable translator. This will be a game changer that will enable me to communicate will ALL my students.
