My Project

Multilingual Learners need a variety of opportunities to practice listening and speaking. Recording themselves speaking helps them to build confidence, but having an audience while recording can be stressful.

To create a comfy, stress-free recording space, my students need a table for additional flexible seating and privacy dividers.

Currently, 3 teachers share our classroom; having additional seating will allow us to have extra students come work independently on speaking and listening activities, while we continue to work with small groups. We want our students to practice speaking and listening many times and in many different ways. Because we share a small space, it is often hard to provide students with the additional independent practice they need. By giving to this project, you will help us to create a space where students can independently practice their listening and speaking skills, allowing students to feel more confident and increasing their academic achievement.
