Flexible Seating to Help Grow Minds

Help me give my students flexible seating so they can learn to love education and chose what helps them learn to their best ability!

My Project

Flexible seating has many benefits for student learning at any age. It allows children to have a choice in their learning and to be comfortable while learning to love school. Students feel in charge of their learning because of the choice of picking which flexible seating they want each day. Flexible seating also benefits students' physical health and mood by allowing them to "move, wiggle, rock, bounce or stand" while learning and not being "disruptive". It improves focus and stamina as well. It also promotes sharing and taking turns. Flexible seating helps students to be engaged in learning for longer periods of time and enjoy school! I appreciate your support!

Our grade level is such a special year for my students.

They are the "juniors" of the school. I teach at a small Title one school, where a substantial percentage of my students are on free and reduced lunch. I have limited supplies at my school and my students are very diverse. They are all at different academic levels. I would love to provide differentiation and flexible seating for my kiddos, they can learn to their best abilities and fall in love with education! Flexible seating includes things such as: wobble chairs, rubber bands for kicking, wiggle cushions, Yoga ball chairs, and wobble stools. These tools allow children to not only be comfortable while learning, but they can choose tools they need to help them be successful! Thanks so much for supporting my students and helping them learn!
