Flexible seating options for children have been known to increase their ability to focus on their work and stay on task. I love that my students are all special and unique in their own way. With different seating options, each child can find what works best for them to be able to do school work to the best of their abilities. What eases one student may not work as well for another, and that is why different options are great to have in class for each student on an individual basis with different energy levels.
My goal for this project is to teach my students about themselves and how to make responsible seating choices through the free choice implementation strategy.
It is also meant to allow students to experiment with different seating options to find the most comfort while learning academics. Being able to come to school and feel comfortable is one more step towards effective learning.
