My Students
A typical day within our classroom has us moving around to different locations. Students are utilizing different areas of our room to collaborate, learn, and grow together. Our biggest challenge is a lack of flexibility due to furniture that is difficult to rearrange.
We work hard to provide them with a learning space within a caring environment.
We work to bring the curriculum to life in an engaging manner. Our school is looking to transform classes towards a 21st century learning space.
My Project
My students need more choice and flexibility with seating choices. They will be able to use the stools daily. The movement that these stools allow help with attention spans and less disruptive behavior. The beanbag chairs will be nice additions to provide students with some additional seating choices as we move around to different areas of the room.
We have begun to transform our space, working to move away from student desks towards table spaces.
The addition of these seating choices will add to this shift within our learning environment. Students will enjoy the choices that they have and find the ones that work best for them.
