Flexible Seating, Science Lab Coats, and Whiteboard Erasers Oh My!

Help me give my students options for flexible seating by donating for a soft, relaxing rug to sit on, Science lab coats for making learning real, and magnetic whiteboard erasers for easy whiteboard clean up.

My Students

My students are innovative, creative, and passionate scholars who thrive in a challenging and engaging learning environment. Everyday they come to school with a smile on their face, ready to tackle any problem. Our classroom community is diverse with many different interests, learning styles, and abilities. My Second Graders have learned to be flexible, helpful, and insightful in order to allow every student to learn in our classroom. I am proud of who they all are and who they are becoming!

My Project

My students will benefit from having a new, nice, and soft rug by sitting comfortably on the ground for our whole group instruction time. My students will enjoy sitting on the rug instead of the rough carpet.

The Science lab coats will increase student engage during our Science lessons.

Children love to act or use props when learning new things. The Science Lab coats allow the children to enjoy the process of learning while becoming a Scientist. When they put the coat on, they are more dedicated to their learning and stay focus on the purpose of the lesson. The children realize learning is fun and engaging.

The whiteboard erasers will help keep our whiteboards clean and our supplies organized because the erasers are magnetic. The students will be able to easily find the erasers when they stick to their supply cups. Also, it teaches the children to reuse instead of waste. Often times, we use tissues to erase the boards which increases waste.
