This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class is given the option to choose how they want to learn each day. Students choose group seats, siting alone, in a low light setting and use stools to sit along our counters and windows for natural lighting.
Our well-loved stools have been tearing and falling apart each day.
We are down to 3 stools for our whole class to share.
I try my best to have many options for seating but my students choose and love the stools so much. They have been so sad to see them fall apart each day.
I would love to surprise them with a new set of stools and some light covers to adjust our classroom lighting. They deserve to love the space they’re learning in and have options to focus. Thank you for considering our classroom
