My Project
While this project is listed to help one student this year, these items will be so helpful for future classes. This year, I have a student that needs to find the perfect flexible seating option. We have found that he does best with visual personal boundaries, compression, and opportunities for movement. The items selected with help give him a variety of ways to help regulate his sensory input so that he can do his best learning.
Flexible seating and weighted items will help my hyperactive student self-regulate so that he can focus on the best learning.
He is an enthusiastic learner but is often distracted by his surroundings. My team and I believe that he will benefit from these flexible seating options.
