Flexible Seating options for my 4th grade kiddos to thrive.
Help me give my students the opportunity for movement, and seating choice. This in turn will help them feel more comfortable, and at home in their learning environment.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I intend to use these flexible seating options as an opportunity for my students to feel more comfortable during learning. My fourth graders are (like all kids), full of energy. I would love for them to have the chance to choose a seat of choice every day, and be able to have some movement within the seat they choose. Since I teach in a departmentalized 4th grade classroom, I have two classes that will greatly benefit from this project. Every child deserves the opportunity to feel comfortable, and at home in their classroom setting. This project will help my classroom feel more inviting.
