My Project
The joy of watching my students learn and have those aha moments is one thing that makes teaching daily very rewarding.
My goal is to continue providing opportunities and autonomy in the classroom where my students have the opportunity to take ownership in what they are learning and how they feel most comfortable and it will foster growth socially and academically.
By aiming to create this environment, it will also bring my students closer together and create so much growth for them. I would like to provide comfort with a comfortable place to learn and options of where to sit, social emotional support, and a place to learn, work, and grow. Offering my students choice has been very successful over time and it helps create a wonderful classroom community, independent thinkers and productive members of the community. The addition of these pillows will bring that additional warmth, comfort and choice to our fifth grade classroom. After all, students are in the classroom for so many hours a day.
