Flexible seating items for Special Education Classroom

Help me give my students flexible seating with Balance balls and Donut seats.I would like to provide my students with the ability to have a choice in where they sit in

My Students

Our students will benefit highly using technology. At least 98% of our school population falls under the low socioeconomic status and at times it is a challenge for them at school because of the problems they face at home. Many of the students at our school lack food, necessities, and school supplies.. The area in which my students live was negatively affected by Hurricane Harvey and many families are still recovering as a result. It is heartbreaking to see how much impact Harvey still has on our city and our students. As an educator, it my job to ensure all my students received the education they need and to meet all their needs. I will always ensure my students are comfortable in their learning environment.

Additionally, all of the students in my class have learning disabilities.

Some cannot read or write. I would love to be able to provide student with flexible seating.

My Project

Students feel empowered by having some degree of choice and control over their environment. Flexible seating, such as the balance ball chair and donut ball chair, allows students to choose where they work and with whom. It also allows them to change their location and positions as needed.

Flexible seating allows students to quickly and easily pair up, work in small groups, or discuss as a whole class.

Traditional desks can make students territorial or possessive over their space and supplies. Flexible seating encourages students to share both. And, it encourages them to take turns in different locations and with different seating options. This is will help with adaptation completely.
