My Project
My goal for flexible seating is to provide students with choices while they learn. Having different options gives variety, but also choice. I have found that some students love to work on the floor one day and the next, they don't. Having options allows students to pick their preference for the day. Having options is also something students look forward to taking advantage of as well, especially when it's something they enjoy.
Students can benefit from these items between having an alternative workspace to sitting comfortably on the floor during a lesson with their peers.
Having a workspace alternative to a desk can promote focus. Having this option for the whole class can allow us to sit closer together and form community as well as learn together in a different way.
