it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flexible seating is important in our classroom because it gives students the opportunity to choose how they learn best. Not all children focus well in traditional desks, and having options like floor cushions or wobble stools them to find a spot where they feel comfortable and alert. This choice can lead to better focus, improved behavior, and increased engagement during lessons.
In a dual language 4th grade classroom, flexible seating also supports collaboration and communication between students working in both English and Spanish.
It encourages movement, peer interaction, and a sense of ownership over their learning environment. By creating a more dynamic and inclusive classroom, flexible seating helps all students feel supported and ready to learn.
