My Project

Small group instruction drives success with our student population.

Whether our students are tackling an essay in ELA class, or decoding words in daily multisensory phonics instruction, or meeting with a peer to do structured fluency reading, our students learn best when given small-group attention.

We are fundraising for small group seating for our classroom!

Your donation will fund 12 high-quality wobble stools for our students, so that they can get their wiggles out safely without interrupting their learning. It would also fund a much-needed updated teacher chair for one of our classroom's teachers--she's been suffering with "that chair" for 2 years.

Our school is designed for students with dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities. Over 70% of students receive special education services, and they come from over 40 districts in Western Pennsylvania.

Our students, many of whom have dyslexia and/or ADHD, benefit from an environment tailored to their needs. Creating an inviting area for the students to learn reduces learning stress and anxiety, especially for learners who require movement to focus.
