This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Coming back from three years of learning during COVID, students finally have the opportunity to experience a somewhat normal school year. I want this school year to feel as normal as possible for these students and flexible seating is one way to do this. Giving students the choice of where they want to sit in the classroom allows them to learn in a comfortable and safe space. Not everyone learns in the same way and having various options for seating allows for various learning styles to flourish in one classroom. Having students walking into the classroom and seeing these seating options will create excitement and help make students want to come to school every day.
