Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have an incredible group of fifth graders who are eager to learn and grow, especially after these last two years. They are fun-loving, thoughtful, and compassionate individuals who are learning to become more and more independent. They are also preparing for testing throughout May and then creating a positive mindset for themselves as they head off to middle school. Their anxiousness is growing faster than themselves.
Working at a Title I school in the Bay Area with most students receiving free or reduced-rate lunch can be challenging, but we do our best to stay focused, learn, and make do with all we have.
I have a good class who is learning the ways of this ever-changing world. They have big hearts and are appreciative of the love and support they receive.
