Help me give my students flexible seating options during this crazy uncertain time. Students have to be separated, but I want them to be comfortable. I also want my students to have some flexibility and normalcy in class.
My students are so full of curiosity, questions, and creativity! My students range in their backgrounds and ability levels. Many of my students are unable to provide their own school materials, which I then pay for. I do this because I want my students to have the best so that they can do their best in my classroom.
Learning is unique for every individual!
We learn in different ways: sitting down, standing up, visually, fidgeting, etc. We love to keep it moving and becoming creative in how we teach, learn, and grow.
My students have shown me that if I show my excitement about learning and what we're doing then often they too will be excited about learning in the classroom.
My Project
Students are so use to having to sit at their desks in a specific type of chair. I have noticed over time that students perform better when they are comfortable while learning. This may sometimes want to be standing up, sitting, laying in the floor, or wiggling in their seat.
The materials that I would like to receive are some wobble seats and floor seats.
These seating options will allow students to have seating that is more flexible and comfortable in the classroom. I want my students to feel comfortable so that they feel safe and want to learn in class. I believe having these seating options will be amazing for my students.
