My Project
IMS is a suburban school in Columbia, South Carolina. Since COVID-19, students have not been able to enjoy flexible seating. Flexible seating fosters social emotional learning and gives students a comfortable place to read and work on projects together. This year I am teaching on diverse ends of the learning spectrum, gifted and talented and reading intervention. These items will help them take ownership over the classroom and build a strong classroom community. Everyone enjoys reading when they feel like they get to choose where they read. Flexible seating changes a classroom library!
