Hello! My classroom of busy, on-the-go students are in need of seating options that better match their learning style. Providing students with these various flexible seating choices will allow students to take charge of their own learning. My students currently love the option of utilizing various parts of the classroom for independent and group work, which means they are spread on the floor, tucked under tables, or standing with clipboards. Giving students the option of learning in different areas of the room has made them more accountable for their learning as well as more productive. By doing so, my students are making the choice to put their bodies in an environment that best works for them.
I am asking for help funding flexible seating in order to make my students' learning safer and more comfortable.
In providing wobble cushions, scoop chairs, wobble stools, and seat cushions students will be able to continue taking accountability for their learning but in a safer way. I am hoping that this project will only continue to enrich the independent and small group work time of my students.
