My Students

The students in our room are enrolled at an elementary school in Reno, Nevada. The culture of our school is special, and students maintain a high level of academic achievement, gain ample opportunities to work with the arts and have built a pretty amazing culture over the last 50 years.

In our room, students work hard and strive to be on a path to college, career and civic readiness.

All students enjoy working with challenging and complex materials that ensure academic and social success.

My Project

Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. At the start of the school day, students select a location they are most comfortable sitting at and they choose a seating option. The purchase SitWell stools will allow for greater differentiation in seating options.

My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work.

The SitWll product is well reviewed and consistent with the flexible learning and flexible seating philosophy. Moreover, the are adjustable which makes them a great fit for all of the learners in the classroom.
