Flexible Seating for Students with ADHD

Help me give my students flexible seating options for a brand-new classroom. I teach a high special ed population of students and these seating options support their needs.

My Project

I am creating a classroom that serves military and low-income students. This is a new classroom and I am building it from the ground up. I have a large special education population, and the flexible seating options allow students to choose a seating option that best meets their needs.

I will use these seating options to support students who have flexible seating in their Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

These plans identify the best support needs for students and are therefore necessary for these students' success. Additionally, some students need to be closer to the teacher and whiteboard to support attention, and these will be placed in the primary instruction area.
