My Students
I currently work at a elementary school that has 100% active military families. It is an extremely unique school setting since so many students are in constant transition and have a great deal of educational, social, and personal needs.
My Special Need students have the capability to learn, progress and succeed like any other student.
These students persevere and have a willingness to succeed despite their learning differences. They learn to adapt and compensate using strategies they have been taught.
My Project
All these materials will go towards my students who are currently receiving Specialized Academic Support.
Having bean bags, wobble chairs, and comfy seats are going to be used daily throughout the school day.
My students vary with many needs and will utilize each item according to their specific need. Having these materials can be used as an incentive to reach specific goals or help them focus during important projects or instruction as well as when they are working collaboratively in group discussions.
These items bring such happiness and joy to students learning. They are excited to learn using flexible seating.
