My Students
My classroom is a special education room. I have students who have various intellectual disabilities. We are blessed to have a great administration who help, guide, and support not only the teachers but also the students. As administration and teachers, we work together to provide the best for the students. We encourage them the strive to be the absolute best they can be.
In our Title I school, we service a rural community.
We are growing more and more reach and every year. With the sizes of the classes growing all the time, it can be challenging to have the correct or right amount of materials for everyone. Having extra resources can assist the students to become the best they can be.
My Project
The Kids Kore Wobble Chairs will help students move their bodies but help keep their brain and hands focused. The Jellyfish seats will help students have a different type of chair. This can have an impact with allowing more focus.
"Normal" chairs may be cold, hard, or uncomfortable.
Having these different types of flexible seating resources available can help each student achieve their best. The different seats allow for the students to focus in their own way. They are able to stay on task and be the rest of the class. With this simple solution, student are able to make gains in the classroom.
