My Students
My second graders love reading and enjoy listening to books in the classroom using our literacy listening center. My students are voracious readers who love our listening center. My class is made up of diverse students, each with different learning abilities. My students work to develop fluency with reading and speech, accuracy in word identification, and comprehension skills. It's important for me to be able to utilize all available resources in order to give my students excellent instruction in the language arts.
My Project
My second grades are enthusiastic readers. They love all genres of books and especially love our listening center during reading centers. Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats allows them to move locations and positions as needed while reading. Students will enjoy this experience more when it is comfortable and not hard, as they now sit on the floor. Students feel empowered by having a choice and control over their seating. Flexible seating helps make learning fun. It will enhance interest in the reading center and provide a comfortable space for students to explore their books and develop a love for literacy.
