My Project
My amazing K-2 students on the Autism spectrum are in a self-contained class that exits to meet their individual needs and help them succeed. They love to come to school every day, but they struggle to sit still for any length of time.
An outdoor classroom is the ideal place for my students to learn, however, we need flexible seating, and a way to transport the seating back and forth.
We are in the process of creating a school garden, and we would love to have a safe place for them to work outside. We are requesting portable lap desks and a cart to transport them back and forth from the garden. These items will be available for all classrooms to sign out and use.
