First grade is a great time to learn lots of new things. Sometimes it is hard for students to do their work on paper and in books all day long. I like to get my students involved in what they are learning and do it in different ways.
Each student learns in a different way.
This is what makes all of us so interesting and it is okay. Everyone is unique in their own way. We help each other along the way by being kind and honest.
We like to have morning meetings where everyone can share their thoughts and ideas. This helps us to build class community. I want to help my students learn in whatever ways help them most. I love all my students and want what is best for them.
My Project
The flexible seating choices that I have selected will allow my students to be able to learn in an engaging way. They will have the option to sit on a regular chair or on a Wobble stool. During our Daily Five time, the students are allowed to sit wherever they feel most comfortable and are able to learn and focus best.
Students will thrive and want to learn while using these stools.
The stools will help students focus better and they will enjoy making more effective learning choices. These stools are lightweight and they can be moved to different areas around the classroom.
