My Project

I'm a Resource Specialist Teacher who works with special education students in grades kindergarten through fifth. My students have a wide range of learning disabilities from Dyslexia, to ADHD and Autism.

I want to provide a fun, engaging, and relaxing environment for my students to practice skills that they typically find challenging.

My struggling learners often have difficulty sitting still for long periods of time. Offering flexible seating options will not only get them out of our old, uncomfortable, district chairs, but will allow natural body movement which can increase alertness and focus.
