Help me give my students flexible seating options for the classroom. Students with high energy and sensory seeking behaviors will benefit from being able to choose their seating.
Students that need a comfy place will also get one.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students will be given a choice of seating in the classroom instead of only have one choice of a chair at a desk. Students will be able to focus more while learning if they are able to move and get their wiggles out.
My students are specials because they all have very different needs.
Some students can sit in a regular chair and be able to focus just fine. Other students need some movement in order to be able to focus. One thing that I know for sure about my students is that whatever their situation is, they are doing their best in my classroom.
