Help me give my students flexible seating. Flexible seating allows students to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain which in return increases learning.
I am looking to implement flexible seating in my first grade classroom. I work at a Title I school with little funding, so your help would be greatly appreciated in making this possible for my first graders.
When utilizing flexible seating, students have more control which in turn improves students' engagement.
Studies have shown that students who can move around during class are more likely to pay attention and retain information than those who are confined to a desk.
