My Students

My students are amazingly resilient junior high students who have bounced back from virtual learning to in person learning, back to virtual learning and then back again and so on! And while all students have faced these challenges my 7th and 8th grade students have truly shown their diligent work ethic through this time.

And throughout all these wild pandemic times, my Career and College Awareness students have stuck with their studies and are really gaining knowledge and skills that will benefit them in the future.

For this reason, I would love to see them receive this DonorsChoose grant as a reward for their hard work. Thank you!

My Project

Students are experiencing unprecedented times in education. We need to encourage them in innovative and creative ways. This project will allow me to encourage the students to collaborate while they explore careers and build skills for the future.

By funding my project, I will be able to give my students a variety of options in seating in my classroom to get them excited about being here as well as addressing a variety of learning styles.

For many of them, my CCA class is the highlight of their day and this will continue that trend!
