Help me give my students flexible seating options in a gifted and talented kindergarten classroom. It is important to give my students the flexibility of choosing seating options that work best for them during the school day.
My students are gifted and talented learners who are full of energy and are always ready to learn something new! Supporting my gifted and talented learners involves lot's of planning and many opportunities for enrichment and challenges. My students are very creative and absolutely love engaging and hands on activities. They are eager to accept challenges where they have to collaborate and problem solve to reach a solution.
There is no better time than today to encourage our gifted learners to shine!
My Project
The use of flexible seating in classrooms is a great way for students to be able to make choices about what works best for them. Many students have difficulty when completing various activities due to not being comfortable in the chairs.
Flexible seating will help my kindergarteners get their wiggles out, so they can focus in the classroom.
By donating these flexible seating options to our classroom, my students will become good choice makers, more engaged in their learning, and will be able to complete tasks when sitting at their desks. The wobble stools allow for some movement when they are sitting, which can be extremely beneficial for them.
