This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items in this project will serve students with flexible seating options to help encourage more flexible learning. Students' focus can fade at times when they feel uncomfortable in their seat or simply need to move to a different location. The lap desk will provide students a flexible writing seat. They can choose a place in the classroom they feel comfortable in and use the lap desk to focus on their writing without being on a chair or desk.
The seating cushions will provide comfort for those students who prefer to stay in their desk, but wish to feel a bit more comfortable in their chair.
Adding this comfort to my students' learning environment will help their learning blossom.
