Flexible Seating for Flexible Learning!

Help me give my students a variety of flexible seating with yoga ball seats, a comfy couch to read on, and floor seating with desks for those who prefer to sit low.

My Students

I am beyond excited for this school year because of my students! They are so happy to come to school and want to learn. I will have a few who need the extra motivation for learning to love school, however, as a whole my students are so loving and I am beyond excited to grow with them this coming school year.

My amazing kiddos have a variety of special needs from physical, mental, and academic challenges they face each day.

This classroom is part of the EC program where I will be teaching adaptive learning standards along with the standard course of study in a cross-cat setting.

My Project

All of my students have many different learning needs. We have physical needs, behavioral needs, and academic needs. They all learn in different ways, I have noticed over the past 7 or more years in teaching, that students need to be able to move around and be comfortable while learning. It is not easy sitting in a hard chair all day and required to learn when all they can think of is how UNCOMFORTABLE they are!

I want to give my AMAZING students the BEST!

They deserve so much more and I believe flexible seating will allow a welcoming, comforting, and active learning environment that will achieve growth in us all. Thank you!
