Flexible Seating for Flexible Learning!

My students need to have flexible seating within the classroom to allow them to be focused and comfortable while they learn.

My Students

I teach a class of high-energy kindergartners. They do their best learning hands on, and they like to move a lot. My class has a wide range of abilities and home lives. They are happy to be at school and eager to learn. We are a K-2 school with over 600 students and we have 8 kindergarten classes. We are definitely a primary focused school with high standards for student learning. We believe all students can learn, and every staff member is committed to the success of each and every student. It is a wonderful place to teach and learn!

My Project

I teach very enthusiastic and energetic kindergarteners. These flexible seating options I am requesting will allow my students to choose how they learn best! When I ask students to go back to their seats; now they will have options that best fit their needs. If you give students options they are more likely to finish the task at hand. The soft seating will allow children to work and collaborate together in a more comfortable environment. The lap desks will allow my students to work while sitting on the floor. The chair kick bands will provide my fidgety students the ability to focus longer. Flexible seating will permit my students to wiggle and move while they learn!
