My Students
As a new special education teacher, my goal is to provide an engaging and inclusive education for my students. My students are all deaf/ hard of hearing and all come from diverse backgrounds that enrich our class community.
They are a group of students who despite having to overcome challenging obstacles each day, come to school smiling and ready to learn!
My Project
My students thrive when they have the ability to take charge of their learning environment and they get to decide where in the classroom they learn best. In order to help them reach their full learning potential, I would love to provide flexible seating options that fit the needs and desires my students have shared with me when we return to in-person instruction. Providing alternative seating options will give students new opportunities to excel academically as well as help them understand the best way for them personally to learn, a skill they will carry with them the rest of their lives. I appreciate your support in helping to create an environment that promotes student choice in learning!
