My Students

My students are kind, thoughtful, and curious. They love to work collaboratively, do hands-on activities, and move around the room. They are learning and growing every day academically and socially.

We work together to achieve our goals!

My students have gone through many changes this school year, but I have seen them grow stronger together. Though it is tough work preparing for middle school, my students support each other through it all. I am lucky!

My Project

Flexible seating allows students to take charge of how they are learning and working and make the choice of what space works best for them. Students already have a few options to work around the room, such as on the floor with a clipboard or a comfy chair in our library.

When given the option to use a flexible seating option, student engagement soars.

By empowering students to choose how they will work throughout the day, I am looking forward to students being able to stay focused throughout the day and to giving students more freedom in their learning. Thank you!
