This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Now that we are free to roam about the classroom once again, I want to go back to flexible seating with my students. Not everyone likes or can sit at the table to complete their classwork.
Some students prefer to work on the carpet.
Others need a seat that will allow them to wobble about, instead of rocking in their chair and potentially falling out of their seat. Providing my students with designated places to work and specific chairs for those who need more movement in their day will help increase learning for all.
