My Project
I am fortunate to teach a group of third graders who are full of enthusiasm, curiosity, and unique perspectives. I love my students' excitement for learning and their eagerness to explore new ideas. They thrive in an environment where they can collaborate, move around, and engage with their work in a way that suits their individual learning styles. This project aims to provide flexible seating in our classroom, giving students the freedom to choose their workspace based on their needs and preferences. Flexible seating options will help my students feel more comfortable and focused, allowing them to engage more fully in lessons and activities.
The goal of this project is to create a classroom environment that encourages independence, collaboration, and creativity.
By offering a variety of seating options, students can choose a space where they feel most productive, whether that’s sitting on a floor cushion, at a standing desk, or in a traditional chair. This flexibility will help students stay engaged, work more efficiently, and develop a sense of ownership over their learning environment.
What makes my students special is their diverse learning styles and their willingness to support one another. They are kind, eager to collaborate, and always ready to help their classmates. With flexible seating, they will be empowered to learn in a way that best suits their needs, which will foster a positive, productive, and supportive classroom community.
