Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am the teacher to English as a Second Language students in our school. Our ENL students come from all over the world, from China to Yemen to Mexico.
Our diverse ENL students in Kindergarten through 5th grade work on reading, writing, speaking, and listening in our classroom.
These flexible seats will allow all students of varying ages to have ownership over their learning and create a homey feel in our class. By being able to wobble and rock as they learn they will be able to increase oxygen flow to the brain, increase blood flow and increase core strength, all while increasing their ability to focus and learn.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
